The new church in the village of Gonja is rising out of the ground!  Thank God for this work in a village that was almost entirely Muslim.  Since November of 2008 over 200 have accepted Jesus as their Savior!

We are a Bible believing pentecostal church that was established over 45 years ago by Rev. Kirk Powers and his wife Rayetta.   In 1991 his son, Bro. Keith Powers and wife Becky left the evangelistic field and moved to Virginia to become the current pastor.

We are involved in many different types of outreach in our local area and around the world.   Our bus ministry travels in many directions to pick up and bring children to church every Sunday to teach them about the goodness of God.

We have been involved with mission work in Tanzania, Africa for the last 9 years and during that time built several churches and opened Safe Haven Orphanage which currently is home for over 50 children.

Please spend some time exploring our site and seeing what the Lord has helped us to accomplish for His kingdom.   Many sermons that Bro. Powers has preached are available to listen to online in the sermons section and much more information about our mission work is also online.

If you live in the area or are visiting on vacation we invite you to join us for Sunday morning, Sunday night or Wednesday night service.  If you have any questions about our church or the work that we are involved in please contact us by mail, telephone or by email.  We look forward to hearing from you or having you visit us soon.
